Hello My Name is Shad,

But you can call me BOW. As y’all know, I’ve been entertaining in music, on stage and in film since I could walk. I’ve lived my life in front of the camera and you’ve watched me grow. Most people have a strong opinion about me but few actually know me.



On Sunday evening I announced my new recording deal with Cash Money Records. The response was HUGE…with both positive, negative and even confused comments.



To the fans who’ve been there since day one…I LOVE Y’ALL. I could never show enough appreciation for the support you’ve given me. I am who I am because of YOU!



To the naysayers, I hope that you give me the opportunity to earn your respect. I know that over the years I’ve put many of my faults on display which I make no excuses for. I’m young and I’ve made mistakes and I will make more. No different than any other 22 year old, I still have some growing up to do. When I said earlier this year that I may be retiring from hip-hop, I was serious. I’m not stupid, I read what you read and see what you see. I really thought it may be time to move in a different direction and change focus. I wasn’t the first entertainer to go public with these feelings and I certainly won’t be the last (Brett Favre….just playin, welcome back Brett).



To anyone who’s confused or says I don’t belong in Cash Money…Let me remind you that I’ve been down with Baby, Slim, Wayne and the whole Cash Money family from the beginning. 10 years ago when we really were “Lil” me and Wayne did a song for the Hardball movie soundtrack. Baby was influential in my third album. Last year, Wayne and I spent 2 months together in New Orleans filming Hurricane Season. So please don’t be misinformed and think I’m just jumpin’ on “what’s hot” or trying to ride others success. This has been my extended family for more than a decade.



And since everyone is asking…me and JD are cool! Nothing has or will change. He’ll always be that father figure that I never had and we’ll continue to make hits.



I’m ready to go to work and I don’t care if it’s hard; I’ll put the time in…I WANT TO BE THE BEST!!! The last 10 years have been an AMAZING ride…now let’s make the next 10 even better!!!

Anything worth having demands hard work and sacrifice. Just ask Atlanta's newest superstar-in-the-making V.I.C. as he readies for his debut album, due in Spring 2008. 

Born in the rough and tumble Corona section of Queens, NY to a native New Yorker mom and African immigrant dad from Ghana, V.I.C. has been making music for as long as he can remember. He was 10 years old when he first put pen to pad after being asked to write a drug awareness rap for his elementary school. "All the students loved it," V.I.C. remembers. "I came home and wrote the whole song myself. I have been rapping pretty much all my life. I didn't know I had the gift, but the gift had been with me." It was during that same year that his parents relocated down south to Atlanta's south side suburb of College Park. And even though music was deeply embedded in his soul, he wouldn't pick up the mic again until high school. "When I was in high school, I was focused on being a lyricist. My lyrics were mind blowing to the people I was rapping around," he recalls. "When you rap against southern rappers, they're talking about riding in their car with big rims. I had a lot of punch lines." 

After high school V.I.C continued to develop his craft by becoming a regular in local open mic competitions. Self-employed barber by trade, V.I.C. cut fades and line-ups during the day and chopped the heads off other unsigned rappers by night. In his downtime he used hard earned barber bucks to invest in studio time on his tireless pursuit for a career in music. 

Coincidentally, as if by fate, multi-platinum music mogul Michael "Mr. Collipark" Crooms (CEO of Collipark Music) and industry insider Derrick Crooms were patrons of another barbershop just a few doors down from where V.I.C. worked.

Being so young, his professionalism and his consistency of working in the studio has not only influenced the young but also artist already in the music industry. DMoney has already made a long range of performances throughout the country; such as Boston, New York, Houston & Dallas Texas, New Orleans, New Jersey, New Hampshire, & Miami. He says "I try to make it as far as I can go becuase there is no limit on how far I can go".


As of right now, DMoney is getting ready to release his first album "Dreams" off of Gittuff Records. He hits the streets with the first single "I Can Do" which features Perfekt & Chance and Efficial of Triy Records, that has received more then 90,000 plays on Myspace alone. He then drops two hot singles "Love Money & Bout Dat" produced by himself that are making all his teenaged fans go crazy when they hear him performing it.


The next single "1 Fan" Ft. Efficial is going to be approached a different way. This time not only will this single hits the streets, but it will also be air played followed by an eight week Campaign. Be on the look out for a star on the rise. This will not be the last time you see him
